A866:  Chinese Nobleman

 This is a nicely carved Chinese Nobleman.  He stands with his wisp as he strokes his beard.  Nice detail to his robe.  He stands 3 3/8"

A864:  Ivory Walrus

This is a VERY nice Walrus carved from Walrus Ivory.  She is laying next to her pup. Note the center crystalline typical of the cross cut slab of walrus tusk (rare).  They sit 3" wide, 1 1/2" tall, and 2 1/4" deep.  They are signed AHS.

A849:  Billikin

This is a classic Eskimo carving of the lucky Billikin.  A tradition in the northern community, the tip of a walrus tusk is used for these.  This is an extremely large and nice on at 2 1/2" with a very nice polished finish.

A863:  Lion

Although not a huge version of the classic Lion, this rendition is nicely done.  He is 3 1/4" long and stands 1 1/2" tall (not counting the wood stand).  Carved from very nice ivory with a high polish.

A rare carved ivory Jesus Christ.  Probably carved in Europe around the turn of the century.  He stands in the traditional pose on a nice wood stand.  3" without the stand.
